How to Recover WeChat Attachments from iPhone

WeChat can be used to send audio messages, photos, short videos on the go while we are chatting with friends. These files are categorized as WeChat attachment files and are locally saved on your iPhone for some period of time. However, if you uninstalled your WeChat or you accidentally cleared the conversation history, they can be lost forever. Is there any way to recover WeChat attachment files?

How to Recover WeChat Attachments without WeChat Backup

If you don’t have any backup files available, you need to find yourself some iPhone data recovery software that is able to scan and restore WeChat contents. Here we recommend H Data iPhone Recovery. Step 2. When the scanning process is done, you will be able to see all the recoverable files. Choose WeChat Attachment on the left panel and you will find all the WeChat accounts that we can restore. Select the account you want to recover audios and videos from and click View Records to browse the chat history.

Step 3. Click Switch Accounts to switch between WeChat accounts. To export WeChat attachment files, click the Export Selected Records or Export All Records and you will be able to save these files to your computer.
